We had a good sermon this week.\u00a0\u00a0 The gist of it was that while Catholic saints are just dead people, the new testament says WE are saints due to Christs Righteousness covering us.<\/p>\n
As Saints, how are we acting?\u00a0 We need to be showing Christs Love for others.\u00a0 We need to remember that we are robed in in the righteousness of Christ and we can’t continue to do things as we did before we knew Christ.<\/p>\n
We should remember that we need to “Put to Death, therefore, whatever belongs to your earthly nature.” Colossians 3:5.\u00a0 This is pretty violent, we need to violently eliminate the old clothes we used to wear and remember that “What happens in Vegas” is likely to cause you or those around you\u00a0to stumble in the future.\u00a0 We have been brought to life and we need to put to death our old way.\u00a0 Check out Romans 8:11-13 “He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies … if by the Spirit you put to death the misdeeds of the body, you will live.”<\/p>\n
So just do it . . . Get Undressed and put on the Robe of Righteousness that only comes from Christ.\u00a0 Be renewed in Christs Image and become different so you don’t cause pre-Christians to stumble.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
